A Multi-Use Fun Project
I was at a craft show with my sister and we saw large binder clips decorated (Loved the Idea). There are so many ways you can use these…On a buffet table decorated in the theme of the party with the dish you are serving, On the table at a wedding decorated in the the colors and the couples names on it, with the persons name in it (a gift they can take home from the wedding) and of course the following…..
My sister made some when we were at the crop at the Scrapbook Expo for her husbands Aunt who was turning 90 to place in the center of the tables.
I wanted to make one for my Aunt and Uncle and my Mom…they were coming to visit and I wanted to give her a little. I decided I would take my little Selphy CP900 Canon Printer (which I love). Not to change the subject but I couldn’t find a case to carry it in so I made one, just by covering the box. So I can take it on any trip.
You use the big binder clips…my sister found some colored ones at staples.
I wanted a nautical theme…so I used the paper from the Seaside Paper Pack. The paper was cut to the size of 2”x3-5/16” and then glued to the binder. (sorry the pictures that are blurry)
I then took a little Liquid glass and put some very small shells on top of the liquid glass. My sister had collected the ones I used on the beach in Melbourne, Florida. Then you put more liquid glass on top of the shells to cover them. I put mine at the top and my sister put hers at the bottom. This is done on both sides. I let one side dry before doing the other side.
Used two (one on each side) Seaside pieces from the Assortment Pack. Tied some ribbon on. After I took the picture I then printed it out and put it in and gave it to them. You have decorated both sides so you can use two pictures. It helps if you put a thicker piece of cardboard between the pictures.
