Using the Cricut Explore and the Art Philosophy cartridge cut out the object you would like to use on two-sided paper. As you can see, I used dragonflies (because my sisters birthday is in May, and she loves dragonflies) and made three different sizes. The paper is Heartstrings Paper Packet but any two-sided paper from CTMH can be used.
I cut the part with the dragonflies to measure 4 1/16 x 3 9/16. The paper that you glue behind is cut 1/16 less on both sides.
I used a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 white card. CTMH sells two colors 50 pack cards and envelopes in white and colonial white.
Use some of the cutout objects on your card as well. You can glue them down completely or use pop dots. I just glued the center of the dragonfly so I could bend the wings up. The bottom piece you will cut at 1 11/16 x 3 9/16.
This can be used for any occasion depending on what sentiment you need. I stamped Happy Birthday using CTMH ink – color slate. I also used the same color to ink around the edges of both papers. I then glued another cutout dragonfly completely down.
Now take both pieces and glue to your card.
The Cricut cartridge and the stamp set that I used for the set were from the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection – Z1686 $99.00.
